چکیده

Novel yttrium-doped CeO2, MnOx, and CeMnOx composites are investigated as catalysts for low-temperature NH3-SCR. The study involves the preparation of unmodified oxide supports using a citrate method followed by modification with Y (2 wt.%) two approaches, including one-pot incipient wetness impregnation undoped oxides. NH3-SCR reaction is studied in fixed-bed quartz reactor to test ability prepared NO reduction. gas mixture consists 800 ppm NO, NH3, 10 vol.% O2, He balance at WHSV 25,000 mL g−1 h−1. results indicate that mixed exhibits significantly higher deNOx performance compared Y-doped MnOx CeO2 catalysts. Indeed, yttrium presence promotes competitive NH3-SCO reaction, reducing amount NH3 available reduction lowering catalyst activity. Furthermore, physical-chemical properties nitrogen adsorption/desorption, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, temperature-programmed hydrogen, desorption ammonia. This presents promising approach enhancing low temperatures can have significant implications emissions.

Promotional Effect of Ce on Iron-Based Catalysts for Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO with NH3

A series of Fe–Ce–Ti catalysts were prepared via co-precipitation method to investigate the effect of doping Ce into Fe–Ti catalysts for selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3. The NO conversion over Fe–Ce–Ti catalysts was considerably improved after Ce doping compared to that of Fe–Ti catalysts. The Fe(0.2)–Ce(0.4)–Ti catalysts exhibited superior catalytic activity to that of Fe(0.2)–Ti ...

Modeling Transport Phenomena in Selective Catalytic Reductant Catalytic Converter with NH3 as Reductant for NO Degradation

In the current study, reduction of nitrogen oxide from exhaust gas in the presence of NH3 as reductant on selective catalytic reductant (SCR) impregnated catalytic converter was simulated using Comsol© software. Mass transfer (one-dimensional) and heat transfer (three-dimensional) governing equations were taken into account to model the unsteady state behavior of the catalytic converter. Modeli...

Catalytic Oxidation of NO over MnOx-CeO₂ and MnOx-TiO₂ Catalysts.

A series of MnOx-CeO₂ and MnOx-TiO₂ catalysts were prepared by a homogeneous precipitation method and their catalytic activities for the NO oxidation in the absence or presence of SO₂ were evaluated. Results show that the optimal molar ratio of Mn/Ce and Mn/Ti are 0.7 and 0.5, respectively. The MnOx-CeO₂ catalyst exhibits higher catalytic activity and better resistance to SO₂ poisoning than the...
